IPL 2022: Race for the Orange and Purple Caps, latest standings

Royal Challengers Bangalore's (RCB) new skipper Faf du Plessis' good start to the IPL 2022 season with the bat has put him on top of the Orange Cap standings in the early stages of the competition. On the bowling front as well, RCB is at the top. Wanindu Hasaranga is leading the race for Purple Cap with five wickets in two matches.
