'Special win': BCCI announces 5 crore for champions India as wishes pour in

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) secretary Jay Shah announced a whopping Rs 5 crore cash prize for the Shafali Verma-led Indian team as they lifted the inaugural ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup on Sunday. Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the wishes as the young Indian team outclassed England by 7 wickets in the final in Potchefstroom.
